District Table Topic Contest Champion

Congratulations to Dr Asha our contestant from Division N for emerging as the Champion in the Toastmastesrs District 51 Table Topics Contest 2010 in Miri. She has made us proud again for her fantastic performance.
The contest were very competitive and yet she showed her skills outperfomed the rest of the contestants.
With that, Our Division N took back two of the District Contests trophies for this term by Dr Asha.

Division N Reformation

Toastmasters District 51 17th Annual Convention just concluded on 23th May,2010 in Miri. Many things have happened. We saw the reformation of District 51 to two Districts , that is District 51 and District 87.
Division N will remain in District 51 which include clubs in Penisular Malaysia only. Our District now consists of 12 Divisions after the reformation of some Divisions. Our current Division N will be aligned to two Division namely, Division N and Division K. We also saw some realingment of clubs in our divison in the District Council meeting. It was a successful event which started with a Speech Workshop by Papa Gerald Green, DTM in the morning.
He shared with us his vast experience in the field of speaking and listening which is vital in our everyday life.
The event was well attended by Toastmaster members as well as students from USM and members from the public.

I wish to thank the OC Terence and Karen and their team for working hard to put up this good show.

Div N Workshop & Contest on April 24,2010

Div N is organizing the "Public Speaking Workshop and Div International and Table Topic Contest" on April 24th, Saturday from 9am to 5pm at Dewan Budaya, USM , Penang.

The workshop and contests are both open to public. You will have the opportunity to learn from our Accredited Speaker , Gerald Green , DTM in the workshop. The event also give you our best speakers from the division competing in our Division International and Table Topic Contest. Please come and support your favorite contestants.

On top of that, you will have the opportunity to win away fabulous prize by participating in "Judge and Win" contest. All of this will only cost you RM25/=. Please help to spread this good news to your members, friends, colleagues and family members.

April Dues Renewal

Congratulations to All the clubs in the Division!

We have 100% April Dues Renwal submitted ON TIME.
All 28 clubs in the division submitted their dues before April 1st 2010.

Let's us not stop here and continue to work for greater achievements. If you are still working on your educational achivement wether it is your CC, AC , CL, AL or DTM awards, let's complete it before the term ends on June 30, 2010. Although there are three months left before our term ends, I want to let you know that our team , me and your Area Governors are still with you! Let us know if you need any helps.

Division N International and Table Topic Contest 2010 will be held on April 24th at USM, Penang.

For Area Contests, the dates are as follow,

Area N1 - March 27.
Area N2 - April 1o.
Area N3 - March 27.
Area N4 - March 28.
Area N5 - March 28.
Area N6 - April 10.

The District has allowed Area with 4 or less clubs to send two participants to the Area Contests.
